Seashell Necklace w/Freshwater Pearl

This necklace is made from a real seashell that has been dyed in the pysanky (Ukrainian) tradition. I use a tool called a kistka to write on the seashell with melted wax, which resists the dyes. When the design is done, the wax is melted off. I then apply coats of a UV resistant varnish.
